Pregnancy and Exercise Awareness is a movement supported by our advisory team and partners. It began with the declaration of February being Pregnancy and Exercise Awareness Month in 2012 and has grown into a year round collaboration.
To raise awareness about the importance of exercise during pregnancy.
We envision a future where all healthy pregnant women with normal pregnancies have access to prenatal fitness guidelines and benefits; are encouraged to be active throughout their pregnancies; and have access to quality prenatal fitness programs.
- To provide research-based information, helpful tools and inspiring events for pregnant women and healthcare providers.
- To collaborate with perinatal healthcare providers on increasing awareness.
